ITINERARY:

Day 1:

Leaving 6am from Kimya Divers home base, we will arrive in Sodwana between 14:00 and 16:00 depending on the trucks, potholes and pee breaks. Tonight, we’ll go for a nice easy dinner while we discuss the weeks diving program, safety and other activities.

Day 2:

If all goes well on mother nature’s side, we’ll do 2 dives in the morning with brunch and coffee on the beach between them. After the 2nd dive, we’ll go home for lunch and a nap or do whatever you feel like. Our afternoon program is very flexible. If you need to be dropped off somewhere just let us know. There will be a bon fire every night where you can cook your steak and a fully equipped self-catering kitchen where you can prepare your meals!

Beach Yoga: Depending on the weather, we are planning to do 2 days of yoga on the beach at around 16:00. This is completely optional but highly recommended.

Day 3:

The program is similar to yesterday. You might decide to do more dives than you planned. This is completely fine! Dive now, pay later! 😊

Day 4:

Some more diving this morning. After your last dive we can hang out on the beach for a while. Sodwana Bay is famous for a huge pristine powder soft white sand ideal for walking, beach tennis, ultimate frisbee or getting your tan back! Don’t forget your earth-friendly sunscreen…available from your favourite Kimya Instructors…Tonight after dinner we’ll treat you with some epic red wine and pair it with the most delicious dark chocolate!

Day 5:

Our last dive will be a little more adventurous if the ocean permits. We’ll go show you some of our favourite hidden spots and critters! After our last dive we’ll head back for a rest before we decide on the afternoon program. Options include, playing in the sand pits (you’ll need your own 4X4), picnic at lake Sibaya, souvenir shopping at the local market, sunset dinner at Mseni Restaurant or a big bon fire in the pit at the lodge.

Day 6:

Starting a bit slower than yesterday, all you need to do is throw your gear in a bag, grab a coffee and hop in the car for the drive back to Gauteng! You’ll have the next 8 hours to plan your next adventure with your new besties! 😊
